Head2="Finding a Host";
Text2="The first step to starting a website is finding a good place to host your site. There are plenty of free hosts out there if you know where to find them. A few of the most popular free hosting sites are Geocities, Tripod, and Freewebs. If those aren't to your liking, I suggest doing an online search for \"free website providers\" or \"free webhosts.\" A simple search can lead you to sites that list options for free websites and their features. You may also want to go a less traditional route and use services like MSN groups or Yahoo Groups, or blog sites like Blogger or LiveJournal, to present your information. These services are simple to use, but may offer fewer customization options than traditional websites.";

Text3="When deciding on which website host is best for you, there are three main areas you should look at:
1. Space - How much space does the host offer? Free websites can offer anywhere from a few MB to 100 MB. If you are planning on having large files on your site, such as movie clips, or an online store with downloads, you will want a site that offers a lot of space. If your site is going to have mostly images and text, a few MB will probably be enough.
2. Ads - Although ads are annoying, most free hosts require them to pay for the cost of hosting your site and it's rare to find a free site that doesn't have them. When looking for your own host, you might compare the different type of ads hosts use and try to pick one that is the least intrusive.
3. Website Tools - Different hosts offer different types of tools to help you build your website. If you are new to building websites and don't have knowledge of HTML, you might want to find a site that offers a page builder or template pages that will make putting your site together easier. If you already know HTML or have an external program for building websites, you probably won't need another page builder utility. In either case, you should take a look at what options the file manager for your website provides. How easy is it to upload, organize, or delete your files? All new hosts take time to get used to, but picking one that is easy for you to use will make editing your website easier and more enjoyable.
Since these hosts are free and easy to sign up for, don't to be afraid to try out different services before deciding on the one that's right for your hood. Just make sure you carefully read the terms and conditions so you understand what each host offers.";

Head4="Planning your Site";
Text4="Now that you have a place to put your site, you have to decide what information you want to include on it.
Start by thinking about your neighborhood and the other sims who live there. What do you want other sims to know about your hood? What makes it interesting or special? What excites or interests you most about your neighborhood?
Here are some suggestions to get you started (feel free to pick and choose from this list or add your own ideas to it):
- History. How it was your hood founded? What events made it the place it is today?
- Landscape and climate. Are there any historical buildings or other places of interest in your hood you would like other sims to know about?
- The residents. You can share information about the other sims in your hood through current household listings, family trees, family histories, or online journals written by individual residents.
- News. What's happening in the neighborhood? Who's getting married, divorced, graduating, dying or being born?
- Administration. How is your neighborhood run? Who is in charge? Are there any special rules or regulations for sims living in your hood?
- Articles. What observations have you made about life in your hood or sim life in general? Do you have any tips you'd like to pass on to other sims to make their lives easier?";

Head5="Designing your Site";
Text5="This is where good creativity and logic skills come in handy. Because your website will give readers an impression of your hood, you'll want to choose a style and design that reflects your hood's individual style. Whether your hood is traditional or trendy, you'll want a style that fits. If you are having trouble thinking of a good theme or color scheme for your site, you may also want to thing about the climate and physical features of your hood. For example, if it's located on the water or in the desert, you may want to incorporate those elements into your design or color choices. You also might want to use snapshots of your hood or its residents in your site's design.
The most important thing about designing a website is making sure that it's easy for visitors to navigate. You want to make sure that everyone can easily find what they are looking for while they are visiting your site.";

Head6="Maintaining your Site";
Text6="A website should be dynamic, or in other words, it should be continually updated. A stagnant site isn't going to draw in new visitors. Once everyone has seen everything on your site, they aren't likely to come back unless they expect to see something new, so try to update as often as possible. For a hood site, finding new information for updates should be easy. Your hood will probably experience constant changes, so let your visitors know what's going on the hood and with its residents. Inevitably there will be slow periods where not much is happening in the hood to report on. Updating your site every few sim days or at least once monthly, human time, seems to be a reasonable goal to work towards.
Hopefully these suggestions will make creating your own neighborhood website, easy and fun.";
