Text1="Back in the old world (TS1) we used the money transfer system to transfer money from one household to another, and there was Sim Invest Certificates for those who wanted to deposit their savings. We even had bank loans, being a blessing or a curse. It was not possible to bring those products with us to TS2, but today a new local routine for covering those needs is released.
SimCity First Trust Bank, Inc.'s new bank office provides deposits and loans. We provide financial information both in the office and on our webpage (services), but even more interesting to most Simmervillians is the new bank account which opens for both deposits and loans depending on the account balance.";

Text2="New bank account
This is basically a product intended for households wanting to place their savings somewhere safe. We provide only one account per household, and a first deposit of §10.000 or more is required. Every 5th simday we will add interest to the account with 2%. It is a lot more than you get from keeping cash at home. The office is currently operated every 5th simday (25, 30, 35) only, but special arrangements can of course be made.
These deposits are absolutely safe
Until now we would need to place the savings in art or upgraded interior, even here in the new world. That kind of investments are risky because of burglars, fires and bugs. When you deposit your savings with us, you will get your own household account and those money are perfectly safe because only your household can tell us what to do with them.";

Text3="Bank loans
We also offer bank loans of §10.000 or more. Practically it is the same account where we allow a negative balance. The loan must be paid back within 15 simdays in one operation including costs of 2%. We add costs only every 5th day. If you can't pay it all on the 15th day we might have to force you to sell your home in order to pay. Nobody will be allowed to loan more than their net worth, and a loan will not be admited if the household's account is already negative.
How to transfer money between households
When household A has made a deposit of §10.000 or more (deposits after the first one must be of §5.000 or more) they can tell us to transfer any amount to the account of household B, taken they already have an account with us. Household B can not withdraw less than §5.000 so sending small money might not be of much help if someone needs them fast. This kind of transfers will be useful i.e. when children move out and the parents like to help them financially, or in questions of inheritage.";

Text4="How this will be done, technically
To make a deposit the household will need to use the \"Pay §500\" floor tile in order to reduce their cash balance. They must cover an area large enough to match the total amount of the deposit. Say they want to deposit §5000 then they will need to cover 10 floor tiles. As soon as they have been charged §5000 from their household cash, they should replace the floor with the carpet or wood they used to have. The point of this is to affect the cash balance in a quick way. We will then manually add the same amount to the household's bank account.
To get a loan we will use a so called kaching transfer method, and withdraw from the household account manually here at the office. We will keep track on all accounts, naturally, but we also urge the households to make notes i.e. in their household introduction.
Paying with floor tiles has been routine in other hoods ever since before the TS2 move, so it's on time we get it in Simmerville, too. Here in Simmerville there are a few wealthy families that no doubt will find the household bank account deposit interesting. And there are also some poor households, that might go for a bank loan instead.";
